I love a delicious salad paired with my food, and in light of ‘back to school’ and the hustle and bustle that goes along with, I decided to truly keep it simple.

This salad has just three ingredients that merry beautifully together, and are a cinch to prepare. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of room left for your favorite add ins, but this salad is blissfully simple on it’s own.

Crisp lettuce, smooth, mild tasting mozzarella, juicy sweet tomatoes, combined to make an elegant salad that can partner up with any dish. Drizzled with oil and vinegar or your favorite dressing, adding the perfect amount of acidity to seal the deal. With a dainty presentation, this salad can be a quick fix for entertaining, and no one would know it only took five minutes!

What you need:

  • red leaf lettuce
  • 1 ripe tomato (any)
  • mozzarella, cut into rounds
  • italian dressing

Slice tomatoes and mozzarella. Leave lettuce leaves fairly large.

For this particular presentation : fold lettuce leaves into bunches, place tomato slice, then place mozzarella slice. Drizzle with dressing
