Hummus is a very delicious and highly nutritious snack! Packed with potassium, this middle eastern delicacy is super easy to make,

just a few simple ingredients blended to perfection! I didn't have any tahini on hand, but it still tastes delicious, feel free to add some for a more authentic taste.

Pair with crackers, pita bread, or some crunchy fresh vegetables for a perfect snack or appetizer. 

 

 

What you need:

  • 1 -15oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained
  • juice of 1 large lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic 
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika for garnish

 

Place all ingredients into a blender, blend until desired consistency. I blended and left mine a little on the coarse side for texture, you can blend until smooth if thats the consistency you like.

Serve and enjoy
