So, honestly speaking, I'm your type A "It's hot outside, I'm in the mood for ice cream girl" 

The more caramel topped, chocolate dipped, the better! Yes, ice cream is so creamy, cold, and satisfying...but it isn't health conscious...at all.

 

I had made a delicous banana ice cream in the past, I decided to revamp it a little! 

This time I added an assortment of frozen fruit and added in some dark chocolate for texture, this recipe works really well if you want something sweet and cool without an overbearing banana flavor (my kids sometimes aren't in the mood for banana)

 

What you need:

  •  1-2 bananas,peeled and frozen in chunks
  • 1 cup mixed frozen fruits (blueberry,raspberry,and strawberry)
  • 2 oz dark chocolate + shaved chococlate for topping
  • 1-2 tbsp almond milk (or more if needed)

In a blender, add in banana and mixed fruits....blend for a about a min (mixture should look somewhat coarse)

Add in dark chocolate and almond milk, blend until smooth frozen yogurt consistency (dark chocolate should be in tiny chunks throughout the mixture)

Scoop into cone or dessert bowls and enjoy
