As the days get hotter and hotter, I step away from my oven whenever possible.

Lately my appetite has centered around cool and refreshing meals and snacks, highlighting my love for smoothies! In my opinion, the creamier the better.

 

Smoothies are absolutely versatile, enabling you to blend whichever fruit medley you desire. For this one, I used bananas. They were getting really ripe, and at their peak of sweetness, ideal in making a thick smoothie.

Bananas, creamy yogurt, orange juice, blended together beautifully to make this creamy treat. It’s also a winner with the kids!

 

What you need:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 serving (6 oz) greek yogurt-raspberry
  • 3/4 cup ice (6 ice cubes)

Place ingredients in blender, and blend until smooth

* you can use any variation of fruit, yogurt, and juice
