Earlier, Jessica made a delicious White Wine Vegetable Penne and I’ve been thinking to try something relatively similar, minus the alcohol and the margarine. In short, let’s just say I wanted a healthy alternative to the fatty Alfredo, creamy sauce we all love so dearly.

 

For this cooking show, Zucchini is the lead role. This ideal summer vegetable, is fresh and delicate in flavor, but with this supporting cast, it is sure to shine.

 

As I much as I love cooking, when I get home from work I just don’t have the energy to put a considerable amount of energy into dinner.I’ll opt for one pot meal or something pretty easy to bake. Although I like simplicity,I also like variety.

 

Growing up I had the luxury of tasting deliciously fresh pasta, it was homemade and nothing compares to it at all…

I don’t own a pasta making machine, nor do I have time to really make homemade pasta. I do know of some tricks, such as using won ton wrappers to create your own pasta, such as tortellini or ravioli.

 

 

So this is time of year where we realize how fast this year came and went. Just weeks ago we were shopping for the perfect gift, making sure our holiday meals were planned and prepped, wrapping gifts, and so much more. Now we have our christmas memories in our photos, and we are thinking of how we will make 2014 that much better.
